Linda Meadows discovered a constancy of devotion from the flux of uncomfortable changes. Now she helps others do the same.
In 2001, her husband Richard told her they’d have to move from Buffalo, New York, a home she loved. “I’m a Buffalonian,” she exclaims, “I’m a snow bird! I grew up in knee-high snow.”
But changes were circling. Richard was leading a ministry in Newport News. He asked Linda to write something for the website. “He wanted me to write something inspirational,” she says, “and I felt like I needed some inspiration. At that point, I didn’t really feel like I had anything inspirational to say.”
But she sat down to write and held nothing back: “I was so honest about how I was feeling. I wasn’t convinced totally that we were supposed to be moving. I was feeling very blue and perplexed about all of it.”
