Your attitude towards what you have now can influence your financial success. Giving thanks in every circumstance may have you moving up and on faster than you think.

When you look back over your life, you can definitely see how blessed you are…
And how far you’ve come.
You can look back and say with a full heart, “God has been so good to me.”

Think about it.

You don’t need millions of dollars in your bank account to know that this is true.
Regardless if you are penny pinching or have a mega money flow, we all have reasons to be thankful.

It sounds so simple, but gratitude can be one of the key components to your financial success. It is when we are thankful and are good stewards of what we already have that God sees that we can handle a bit more. And when we do make it, it is gratitude that keeps us humble and reminds us of where we came from.

You see, I didn’t come from a wealthy family. There were no silver spoons at my table, as a matter of fact I was more likely to be told, “Boy you betta eat that food.” At age seven, my family moved from the country and into the city, and from the anxiety of it all I developed a stutter. Nevertheless, it was by God’s grace that I overcame, He gave me the tools to win, and now I can see his abundant blessings in my life.

I always say, “It doesn’t matter where you come from, it matters where you are going.”
And while we are getting there we should stop and say, “Thank you.”

You may be in a tough position and feel as though you are being underpaid at your job or you don’t have enough money to get by. If this is so, try to refrain from badmouthing your money or complaining. Just say, “Lord, I thank you.”

If you work your money wisely, then what you earn feeds, clothes, and provides shelter for you (even though these things may be modest).

Any which way, God has given each one of us gifts and talents and energy that we can use to make money. Even if someone has a physical disability, he or she can still think of lucrative ideas to help support their dreams and values. Just pray that when these ideas come, you will be open and ready to listen, and you will be prepared to hit the ground running.

Thank God for all He has done for you, and He will be provoked to bless you again and again.

I give God thanks for He has been so gracious to me.
