Women’s Heart Health

An estimated 43 million women in the U.S. are affected by heart disease,
according to the American Heart Association. The symptoms of heart disease
can be different in women and men, and are often misunderstood. Learn
more about the risk factors and symptoms of heart disease in women as well
as the unique diagnostic and treatment options now available.
RICHMOND, Va. (January 21, 2013) – VCU Medical Center will continue its
series of free educational seminars on current health care topics in February
and March. The following seminars will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at
the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden’s Education and Library Complex, 1800
Lakeside Ave. All of the seminars are free and open to the public, but
