CHANGE is difficult and yet it is inevitable in the course of time. You can refuse to change but change will find a way around you. The fact is it will happen whether you want it to or not. It will leave you behind as it continues to move on down the road. Intellectually we understand that things must and will change but the process of change often makes us squeamish.
When you want to change something in your life, dosage a habit, stomach situation or the company you keep you follow a series of action steps. You make a decision to change in your mind, vialis 40mg change the behavior causing the situation you want to change, and you change the circumstances or conditions that support, impact or influence the situation you want to change. In changing behaviors such as overeating, lack of focus, poor choices in friends or relationships you must make difficult and intentional decisions. You cannot just make a wish and hope that change occurs. For change to be successful, you must stop doing something and start doing something else. If you do not replace the thing you have stopped doing with something that you start doing, you will leave a void of time and space that will ultimately allow old behaviors, habits and situations to re-implant themselves in your life all over again. When this happens it becomes even more difficult to remove them and begin again on the road to change. In fact, old behaviors often become even more active and imbedded than they were before you attempted to change them. Change is hard. It usually makes us uncomfortable and creates anxiety. It also requires sacrifice.
The struggle for equality is ongoing as we continue to change what we once were into what we hope to become. Shared responsibility and participation in this great society in which we live is a difficult process but a worthy pursuit. We must strive to share the privileges and freedoms we take for granted with all citizens and fellow human beings. The “Dream” so eloquently espoused by the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was an inclusive one. He spoke of equality yes but what his Dream truly called us to was Equity and Justice for ALL. This must be our goal. It must be intentional and we must endeavor to embrace our collective humanity no matter the differences in our belief systems. We must Change the behavior that excludes and marginalizes people who are not like us. We must open our minds to re-education and the recognition that time does not stand still, and we must acknowledge in this 21st century the circumstances of life in a global society demand that we Change. Change is hard but it will happen whether we want it to or not. Prepare yourself to move forward or you will be left behind. Talk to me.
